Camarillo, CA. Physicist by training. Years in Southern California manufacturing and technical sales. I build systems so small companies are not stuck in email and spreadsheets. Work is in person in Ventura County, or by video. The site is the shop window. If you want the phone, it is in the header. If you want to see how the week could look on one page, there is a sample. If you want to see how this site is wired, that is in the footer. Other doors — the expedition log, LinkedIn, GitHub — are listed below. No extra landing page. --- # built-with.md This page is for people who care how the shop is wired. If you just want help with the computers, go back home or call. ## Stack Astro 5. Pages are documents. The scan tool is a small script on one page, not a sitewide app. Railway hosts it. No database is required for the public site. Content is markdown and YAML. Changing an offer is a file, not a redesign. Booking is our own slot list plus an .ics email, not Calendly. A phone can leave a 20-second video on /talk. ## How “Where is the time going?” works Five questions. A pure function in `src/lib/scan.ts` turns the answers into a paragraph, an annual-hours number, and a first offer. No model is called on the public page. The same result is in the query string, so it can be opened again on a call. If the optional email endpoint is down, the page still computes locally. ## Tests Unit tests cover the scan rules. Playwright covers the phone link, a scan path, and the print page. ## For agents See `/llms.txt` for a short map, `/llms-full.txt` for the concatenated content files, and `.md` next to each HTML page (`/work.md`, `/about.md`). --- # home.md Cerebral Frame helps owners of small local companies get the computer work out of the way — so the shop runs on a short list and a weekly picture, not a pile of email. You already know the work. Orders, people, vendors, the Friday numbers. What eats the week is chasing it across inboxes, spreadsheets, and “I’ll remember.” We come on site in Ventura County, or by video when that is enough. You get a number you can tap, a page you can print, and a picture of the week you can hold up in a meeting. If a simple software helper is the right tool, we use it. If a spreadsheet is the right tool, we use that. --- # privacy.md # Privacy Cerebral Frame is a small practice in Camarillo, California. If you call, email, or send the form, we use what you send to get back to you. We do not sell it. We do not run ads on this site. We do not drop a cookie wall. The form may keep a JSON copy of what you submitted so we do not lose it if email hiccups. Scan answers live in your browser and in the link you can copy. They are only emailed to us if you ask. Questions: Somapptic@gmail.com or (805) 236-8182. --- # talk.md # Talk Three ways in. Same person on the other end. Call if you have two minutes and a question. Email if you want it in writing. Book twenty minutes on our own calendar if you would rather pick a time. Or leave a 20-second video from this phone. If you fill in the short form, you will get a copy of what you sent, and the phone number again so you are never stuck waiting on a box. --- # terms.md # Terms This site is an introduction, not a contract. Prices on the work page are typical ranges, not quotes. If we do work together, we will write down the scope, the price, and what “done” looks like before anything starts. The sample Friday picture is an example. Your numbers, not those. California law. Camarillo, CA. --- # work.md # Work Typical ranges, not quotes. A look under the hood is how most shops start. One problem, fixed is for when you already know what is eating the week. A part-time technical lead is for when the computer work should belong to someone who is not also running the floor. ## What a month looks like Week one: we watch how the week actually runs. Not a workshop. We sit with the inbox, the spreadsheet, the person who “just knows.” Week two: you get a short list. What to stop doing, what to write down, what to put on one Friday picture. Week three and four: we fix one thing that was stealing hours, or we stay on as the person who owns it. You will always be able to call. You will always be able to print the page.
